Status specie: Generally accepted.Discoverer(s): Brian Watters, Ruud Wildekamp and Ian Sainthouse, June 7. 1995In captivity : One of the largest Nothobranchius. Currently scarce in the hobby. Standard maintenance conditions considering its size. A progressive decrease in colour can be observed over successive generations. Very little morphological differentiation with N.insularis.Large species. Tendency to lose color in successive generations in captivity
